at ISON theater
(Melenikou 33, Athens)
The professional inclusive theater ensemble THEAMA presents Antigone: Act I, a performance that incorporates accessibility services for D/deaf and visually impaired audiences, a tale that sheds light on the dipole of Ismene and Antigone, the contradictions, the relationship, the confrontation, and the intense conflict between the two sisters.
“When action and reaction obey the uniqueness of personal seclusion and isolation. A matrix that gives birth to two principles that interact in the course of the same historical condition, but with a different spirit. ”
(Vassilis Oikonomou)
The accessibility services are part of a pilot action for Inclusive Theater(s)’ project co-funded by Creative Europe and as part of the W.A.N.T. (We All Need Theatre) campaign currently running by the above project.
