WHERE WE WANT TO GO
With the WWM project, we boldly declare: we want more.
Our responsibility is to take inclusivity in theatre to the next level: we see accessibility and inclusion as fundamental to shaping and adapting theatre spaces and will work to create environments where everyone—regardless of physical or mental conditions, or social and cultural backgrounds—can fully enjoy and participate in the arts.
Our vision is clear: the social inclusion of the disabled in theatre is essential to building a more equitable and accessible society.
This is why we commit to involving disabled people in every stage of the work, by:
- integrating disabled actors and directors into our casts.
- training theatre directors and actors on how to make their companies and performances more inclusive.
- training theatre managers and operators on how to effectively address the needs of spectators, actors, and disabled colleagues.
- incorporating D/deaf audiences into dance or music performances.
It is possible to create a performance with a diverse and inclusive artistic direction and cast.
And we are ready to prove it.
